Front Desk & Executive Assistant

Accent Homes Inc Alexandria, VA Full-time In office

About Accent Homes

Accent Homes is a 50+ year, family-owned property management firm in Northern Virginia that treats rentals over $2,000/month like investments, so owners grow their wealth without getting dragged into daily management.

We manage with a business mindset: clear math, strong communication, and serious owner protection (21 day lease guarantee, tenant replacement, rent protection, damage and eviction coverage).

Our long-term target: 4,000 doors under management and a $150M syndicated portfolio. This role keeps the office and leadership organized so we can get there.

The Role

As our Front Desk & Executive Assistant, you are the first face and voice of Accent Homes and the person who keeps our broker and office organized.

You will:

  • Run the front desk: phones, visitors, mail, keys, basic office coordination
  • Support owners, tenants, and vendors with clear, timely communication
  • Keep the broker's calendar, inbox, and follow-ups organized and moving

You're not "just a receptionist." You are the hub that keeps owners, team members, and leadership on track.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $48,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Performance Bonus: Up to $2,000 - $3,000 per year based on clear metrics
  • Benefits:
  • Employer-supported medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match after your ramp period
  • Monthly JOONstyle wellness & learning stipend

Executive Assistant to Broker

  • Manage the broker's calendar: schedule, reschedule, and protect focus time
  • Prepare simple summaries and reminders for upcoming meetings
  • Track follow ups and "open loops" so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Help with light personal admin related to the business (travel, meetings, etc.)

After ramp, success looks like:

  • 95%+ of calls answered live during business hours

  • No owner/tenant/vendor email sitting unanswered for more than 24 hours
  • Broker's calendar is accurate 2+ weeks out with no missed commitments
  • Documents are errorfree, signed, and filed the same day they're completed

Who You Are

  • 1-3+ years in an administrative, receptionist, office coordinator, or assistant role
  • Comfortable on the phone, in person, and over email
  • Highly organized; you like checklists, calendars, and finishing tasks
